Terms of use
§ 1. Who runs this website
The website is run by Little Byte Studio sp. z o.o., Ludźmierska 26A, 34-400 Nowy Targ, Poland, entered in the register of entrepreneurs kept by Sąd Rejonowy dla Krakowa-Śródmieścia w Krakowie, XII Wydział Gospodarczy Krajowego Rejestru Sądowego, share capital PLN 15,000 ("we", "the Studio"). Contact: contact@littlebyte.studio.
These terms are the regulations required by Article 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means. They apply to everyone who uses the website ("you").
§ 2. What the website offers
The website is an information site about the Studio and its games. The only service provided electronically is letting you view its content free of charge. There are no accounts, purchases, newsletters, comments or file uploads. Our games, including Tiland at tiland.app, are separate services with their own terms.
The agreement for this service is concluded when you open a page of the website and ends when you leave it. It places no obligations on you beyond those in § 4.
§ 3. Technical requirements
You need a device with an up-to-date web browser that supports HTML5 and CSS, and an internet connection. JavaScript makes the site nicer but is not required: everything works without it. Cookies and local storage are used only as described in the Privacy & cookie policy; the site works whether you accept analytics or not.
§ 4. Rules of use
- Use the website lawfully and in line with these terms and good practice.
- It is forbidden to supply content of an unlawful nature through the website (zakaz dostarczania treści o charakterze bezprawnym). Since the website accepts no user content, this applies to anything you send us, for example by e-mail.
- Do not interfere with the website's operation: no attacks, no attempts to bypass its security, no automated requests that burden the servers beyond ordinary browsing.
§ 5. Intellectual property
The website and its content, including the Little Byte Studio name and logo, texts, photographs, artwork, game names and game assets, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights belonging to the Studio or used under licence. You may view the content and share links to it. Any other use, in particular copying, distributing or using the content commercially, needs our prior written permission. Press and content creators may use our logo and screenshots to write about us and our games, with attribution.
§ 6. Links to other services
The website links to services we do not run: Discord, YouTube, Instagram, X, TikTok and the Tiland website. Each has its own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for their content or how they process your data. Links are provided for your convenience and do not mean we endorse everything found there.
§ 7. Liability
We keep the website accurate and available with reasonable care, but it is provided as it is: information may be outdated, pages may be changed or removed, and access may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss resulting from using the website or being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under mandatory law, or liability for damage caused intentionally.
§ 8. Complaints
If something about the website does not work as these terms say, you can file a complaint (reklamacja) by e-mail to contact@littlebyte.studio or by post to the address in § 1. Describe the problem and tell us how to reach you. We answer within 14 days of receiving the complaint, at the address you used.
§ 9. Personal data
How we process personal data and use cookies is described in the Privacy & cookie policy, which forms part of these terms.
§ 10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms when the website, our services or the law change. The current version, with its date, is always at https://littlebyte.studio/terms. Changes apply from the date they are published; continuing to use the website after that date means using it under the new terms.
§ 11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country. Disputes are resolved by the courts competent under general rules. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution, for example through the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) or the consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów); details are published by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection at uokik.gov.pl.
